About INSCOBEE

Inscobee opens up a harmonious future in various fields of business.

Smart Grid business

Our company possesses differentiated technologies and experiences in the fields of energy metering, wireless communication relays, and energy management. Based on this, we provide solutions for Korea Electric Power Corporation's Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) construction, energy efficiency improvement for energy-intensive facilities (factories, data centers, collective residential facilities), energy self-sufficiency through renewable energy supply, and mobility charging infrastructure solutions.

We supply power meter modems, data concentrator units (DCUs), and power meter solutions to Korea Electric Power Corporation.

K2 Chip

K2 chip is a communication chip that supports communication using power lines without installing additional Internet infrastructure.

Wi-SUN modem

Wi-SUN internal modem is a device that receives power data from a secure watt-hour meter and delivers it to a detachable modem or meter gateway. It is a product of the 917 MHz band, and short-range wireless communication is possible between meters, modems and meter gateway products.

Data Central Unit (DCU)

DCU is a device that collects data of watt-hour meters and is suitable for AMI systems using power line communication.

C-SMGW

C-SMGW (type C meter gateway) is a device that receives power data from a secure watt-hour meter and delivers it to the server through the LTE wireless network. It is easy to install with its small size, and it is easy to expand functions later by supporting Linux SDK.

IoT-PLC modem

IoT-PLC modem is a device that receives power data from a secure watt-hour meter and delivers it to the meter gateway. Compared to the existing HS-PLC, the underground line communication performance is greatly improved by expanding the frequency band and improving the use efficiency.

Standard type
(internal modem)

PLC modem is a device that receives power consumption data from power meters and transmits it to the DCU. Inscobi's PLC modem provides KCMVP-certified encryption functionality for secure data transmission.

G-Type
(internal modem)

PLC modem is a device that receives power consumption data from power meters and transmits it to the DCU. Inscobi's PLC modem provides KCMVP-certified encryption functionality for secure data transmission.

EA-Type
(internal modem)

PLC modem is a device that receives power consumption data from power meters and transmits it to the DCU. Inscobi's PLC modem provides KCMVP-certified encryption functionality for secure data transmission.

FEMS (Factory Energy Management System) is a project that transforms individual factories, industrial complexes, and agricultural industrial complexes into low-carbon, high-efficiency, and environmentally friendly workplaces. By applying our AMI and energy metering technologies, we aim to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions while enabling the adoption of renewable energy sources for energy self-sufficiency.

Due to the nature of their facilities, data centers consume a significant amount of electricity, making effective power management essential.
Leveraging our AMI and energy management technologies, we provide a stable and efficient data center infrastructure management system.
Our data center infrastructure management system offers a high-capacity database, web-based dashboard, redundancy, and various industrial communication protocols.

We are currently conducting research and development to integrate Information and Communication Technology (ICT) into the existing power grid, enabling two-way real-time information exchange between suppliers and consumers.
Through this initiative, we aim to provide solutions for managing next-generation charging infrastructure systems that can support electric vehicle charging, two-wheeler battery exchange stations, and integration with renewable energy sources.
